What drives the cost of drain maintenance.
A plain-English guide to what makes one plan cost more or less than another, and how to plan for it.
- No surprises
- Placeholder tools
- Quoted first

It depends on five things.
No two properties are alike, so we do not post one price. We quote your plan after a walkthrough and explain it before you commit. These are the things that move the number:
- How many drains are on the plan. A condo with two bathrooms is a smaller job than a house with five, a basement and a garage floor drain.
- How often you visit. Yearly, twice a year, quarterly or monthly. More visits cost more in total, and each one is usually lighter.
- The method. Cable cleaning, hydro-jetting, enzyme care, descaling and camera check-ups each take different equipment and time.
- Access and condition. Easy cleanouts and open floor drains go faster. Older or heavily built-up lines can take longer on the first visit.
- The kind of property. A restaurant with grease traps and a dish pit has different needs from a quiet house.
A plan can lower the chance of a backup, but it cannot promise there will never be one. The tool on this page lets you try your own numbers beside an unplanned call. The ranges in it are placeholders you can change.
Plan vs wait.
