Grease Trap Service Schedules, explained.
A grease trap or interceptor catches fats, oils and solids before they enter the sewer. Once it fills past a certain point, it stops catching and starts passing grease downstream, where it hardens in the lines. A common rule of thumb is to service a trap before it is about a quarter full of grease and solids.
We build a schedule around the trap size and how much you cook, service the trap on those dates and keep a record. Local rules may set a minimum frequency, so we help you stay at or above it.
