Programs & scheduling
What is a drain maintenance program?
It is a plan to clean and check your drains on a schedule, before they clog. Instead of waiting for a backup, you get planned visits at the interval that fits your property, and a record of each one.
How often should my drains be cleaned?
It depends on the property and how it is used. Many homes do well with one or two planned visits a year, while busy kitchens may want monthly service. The Plan Builder and Interval Calculator give a starting point, and we confirm it on a walkthrough.
Do you remind me when a visit is due?
Yes. Your plan lives on a calendar, and you can also download reminders for your own phone from the Calendar Maker.
Can I change my schedule later?
Yes. A plan is meant to fit your property, so it can be adjusted if usage changes or if we find that a line needs more or less attention.
Cleaning & methods
What happens during a maintenance visit?
We clean the drains on your plan, check traps and flow, note anything unusual and give you a short summary. A camera check-up is added when it makes sense.
Is hydro-jetting safe for my pipes?
It is a standard method, and we choose pressure and nozzle to suit the pipe. A camera look first tells us whether a pipe is fragile.
Do enzyme treatments replace cleaning?
No. Enzymes can help keep light buildup in check between visits, but they do not remove heavy grease, scale or roots.
Will cleaning stop clogs for good?
Planned maintenance lowers the chance of a backup, but no schedule can promise that a drain will never clog. It is about staying ahead of buildup.
Homes & rentals
Is a plan worth it for an ordinary house?
Many owners find that a light yearly or twice-a-year plan is easy to live with, especially for older homes, homes with big trees and kitchens that work hard.
I am buying or selling. Can you help?
Yes. A new-owner baseline and a pre-listing tune-up give you a clear picture of the drains and something to hand to your agent.
Do you work with short-term rentals?
Yes. Guests are hard on drains, so a planned visit between busy periods helps. Ask about turnover-friendly scheduling.
Do I need to be home?
For many drains, access is all we need. We confirm the details when we schedule.
Restaurants & businesses
How often should a restaurant grease trap be serviced?
It depends on the trap size and how much you cook. A common rule of thumb is to service a trap before it is about a quarter full of grease and solids. Our Trap Schedule Calculator turns that into a planning interval, and local rules may set a minimum.
Can you keep service records?
Yes. Every visit gets a written record that you can keep for your files and show if you are asked for it.
Can you work around our hours?
We schedule around your operation wherever we can, including early mornings and closed days.
Do you serve apartments and property managers?
Yes. Plans can be set building by building with one clear service log.
Cost & billing
How much does a maintenance plan cost?
It depends on the property, the number of drains and how often you visit. Our cost tools give a ballpark with placeholder ranges, and we quote your plan before you commit.
Is a plan cheaper than emergency repairs?
Planned care costs a known amount on a known schedule. An emergency can cost more and arrives at a bad time, but no plan can promise to prevent every one.
Is there a contract?
Ask us how plans are set up. We explain the terms before you start.
What payment options are there?
Ask when you book. Payment methods vary and we explain them before work begins.
