Before we start

We confirm the drains on your plan, ask about anything that has been slow or smelly since the last visit and protect the areas where we will work. If you have a note on file, we read it first.

You do not need to be home for many visits, as long as we have access.

The cleaning

Each drain on the list is cleaned with the method that fits: a cable or brush for hair and soft buildup, hydro-jetting for grease and scale, an enzyme treatment where a gentle touch is enough. We clean up as we go.

Floor drains are opened, cleaned and refilled so the trap seal is back in place.

The checks

We run water through each drain and watch how it leaves. We listen for gurgles, look at traps for leaks and note anything that looks worn. On plans that include it, we run a camera through the main line.

The checks are what turn a cleaning into maintenance.

The note

You get a short, dated note of what we cleaned, what we saw and anything worth watching, and the next date goes on your calendar. For businesses, the note is written to be filed.

Over the year, those notes show you how each drain is doing.

Quick answers

How long does a visit take?

It depends on the number of drains and their condition. We give an estimate when we schedule.

Do I need to prepare?

Clear access under sinks and around floor drains. We tell you if anything else is needed.
